Learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to remove defect(s), as pointed out by the office, if any, within a period of four weeks from today.

This application for anticipatory bail arises out of Paliganj P.S. Case No. 312 of 2020 for the offence punishable under Sections 457 and 380 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is named in the confessional statement of co-accused. Some parts of the A.T.M., which were taken after cutting the same, have been recovered from the house of the petitioner.

In such view of the matter, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this bail application is dismissed.

The petitioner is directed to surrender in the Court

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.37532 of 2021(2) dt.18-05-2022 2/2 below within a period of two weeks from today. If he does not surrender within two weeks from today, the Senior Superintendent of Police will take all coercive steps for arresting the petitioner within next two weeks and thereafter submit a report before this Court regarding arrest/surrender of the petitioner. The District Judge, Patna, is directed to hold the speedy trial of this case and conclude the same within a period of six months from today.

Put up this case after six months along with the report, if any.

Office is directed to send a copy of this order to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna, and District Judge, Patna, through FAX or e-mail immediately.
