On 31.03.2016, the Court passed the following orders:- "No one appears on behalf of the election petitioner.

In the light of the order dated 18.03.2016, the petitioner was required to remove the defects at item nos. 3 and 4 which have not till date been removed.

In respect of item No. 7, an application was to be filed which has also not been filed. List this matter on 07.04.2016. It will be open to the petitioner to remove the defects in the meanwhile."

The office has reported that no one approached to remove the defects.

It appears that the petitioner has lost interest in pursuing the election petition. The same is dismissed for want of prosecution.
