The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Salkhua P.S. Case No.69 of 2015 registered under Sections 7 of the Essential Commodities Act and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. Regard being had to the criminal antecedent of the petitioner as also the fact that there is allegation that he being a PDS dealer was involved in black marketing of 64 bags rice each containing 50 kgs., I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail. Accordingly, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail is rejected.
