2. The petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered for offence under Sections 341, 323, 326, 379, 504, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per FIR, on 09.02.2024 at 8:00 AM, on the order of District Magistrate, the officials of MANREGA alongwith some laborers came at the spot for digging pit, in the meantime,

No.34461 of 2024(2) dt.08-08-2024 2/3 these petitioners reached there armed with lathi, danda and Gadasa and began to abuse the informant and attacked upon his father with lathi-danda. Petitioner no. 1 attacked on his father's head with danda due to which his right hand fractured. Petitioner no. 2 attacked with danda and fractured his father's right elbow due to which he fell down. Petitioner nos. 3 & 4 assaulted his father with danda in his both legs. Petitioner no. 1 also snatched a mobile of Vivo company from informant's pocket.

4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of petitioners submits that due to land dispute, the alleged occurrence of Maarpeet took place, in which, both sides sustained injury. There is case and counter case. Petitioners claim clean antecedent.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State as well as learned counsel for informant vehemently opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail. Learned counsel for the informant submits that these petitioners not only assaulted father of informant and other family members but also caused hindrance in discharge of official duties of the officers, who had come pursuant to direction of the District Magistrate for doing work under MANREGA.
