The petitioner is in custody in connection with Daudpur P.S. Case No. 171 of 2016 for the offences under Sections 498(A), 323 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 14.03.2019. He further submits that the marriage took place on 24.04.2010. The alleged occurrence took place on 01.06.2016. The complaint case was registered on 19.10.2016. Case No. 171 of 2016.
