For the Petitioner/s :
Mr.Amrendra Kumar Shrivastawa For the Respondent/s :
Mr.Subash Chandra Yadav (Gp15) ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 02-05-2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State.
The petitioner has approached this Court against the inaction on the part of the respondents in disposal of Misc. Ceiling Appeal No. 626 of 2009.
The said statutory appeal was filed in the year 2009
Patna High Court CWJC No.9957 of 2019(2) dt.02-05-2019 2/2 and we are in 2019. If ten years is not enough then the scheme of statutory appeal has become redundant.
Considering the fact that 10 years have passed but no decision one way or the other has been taken by the respondent No. 1, the Court is constrained to direct the respondent No. 1 to dispose of the appeal, if not already disposed of, within a maximum period of sixty days after the General Parliamentary Election positively.
With the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed of.
