The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Biraul P. S. Case No. 108 of 2019 dated 10.05.2019 instituted for offences under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It appears that 492.33 litres of liquor has been recovered from the joint house of the petitioner and others.

The petitioner is a person of clean antecedents and he is in custody since 08.06.2020.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.25275 of 2020(2) dt.01-10-2020 2/2 Regard being had to the period of custody and the nature of accusation against the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 2nd Additional Sessions Judge - cum - Special Judge, (Excise), Darbhanga in connection with Biraul P. S. Case No. 108 of 2019.

The petition stands allowed.
