In the present case, the petitioner is praying for grant of benefit of 2nd ACP/MACP along with consequential benefits as the petitioner has completed 24 years of service from the date of appointment i.e. 31.10.1987 and has placed reliance on the number of judgments on the issue of litigation policy. In such view of the matter, let the petitioner file a

If such representation is filed, let respondent no.2 consider the same and, if it is found that the petitioner has qualified for the same, he should be allowed the 2nd ACP with consequential benefits within a period of eight weeks from the date of filing of such representation. With this observation and direction, the present petition is disposed of.
