The petitioner prays for grant of regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under section 7a of the PC Act.

As per the prosecution case, petitioner was caught red handed while accepting bribe of Rs.15,000/- from the informant for making payment of his due DACP amount. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. Petitioner is merely a clerk and is not the competent authority for releasing informant's dues. Petitioner claimed clean antecedent and he is in custody since 24.3.2021. Charge sheet has already been submitted.

Considering the rival submissions of the parties and the period of custody of the petitioner, prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed. Let the petitioner, as named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Special Judge Vigilance, Patna in Special Case No. 15 of 2021/Nigrani Case No.15/2021.
