The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 25(1-A)(1AA), 26, 27 and 35 of the Arms Act. It is a case of recovery of some arms and ammunition from the possession of the petitioner.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. He further submits that he has not been arrested at the spot. Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail and submits that petitioner has got five criminal antecedents.

Under the aforesaid facts and circumstances, I am not

Prayer for anticipatory bail is disposed of with a direction that the petitioner may surrender before the court below and pray for regular bail and the court below may consider the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner without being prejudiced by this order.
