The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 20 and 22 of the N.D.P.S. Act.
As per the prosecution case, it is stated that on a raid being conducted, three accused persons were arrested. From possession of one Amit Kumar Adak 101 purias of smack like powder was recovered while from possession of this petitioner Rs. 1.5 lacs in cash was recovered.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that no incriminating article has been recovered from the possession of this petitioner who is a lady. She has been falsely
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.38082 of 2021(2) dt.07-01-2022 2/2 implicated in this case because of her criminal antecedent. She is in custody since 3.12.2020 and charge sheet has been submitted in the case.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts of the case together with the petitioner who is a lady having remained in custody for over 1 year, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Muzaffarpur Town P.S. Case no. 784 of 2020 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned C.J.M, Muzaffarpur.
