Limited submission raised by Mr Sandeep Kumar, counsel for the petitioner is that he would try to impress upon revisional authority to take a lenient view in the matter of grant of punishment to the petitioner having regard to the punishment granted to other similarly situated persons against whom there was an allegation of being unauthorizedly absent for long periods.

Patna High Court CWJC No.3915 of 2016(2) dt.02-05-2019 2/2 Prayer made is limited to quantum of punishment, for which this court, in the facts and circumstances of this case, is not inclined to interfere.

However, in view of such submission and since issue has to be considered by the revisional authority, there is no occasion for this court to pass any orders in the instant proceeding.

Writ petition is disposed off.

Petitioner would be at liberty to approach revisional authority. Same should be disposed off expeditiously and without undue delay in accordance with law.
