In this case, the petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Dulhin Bazar P.S. Case No.211 of 2018, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 342, 324, 326, 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3/4 of D.P. Act and later on Section 304 B was added.

In the present case, the victim had given her fardbeyan giving details of the fact that in what manner the dowry demand was made and lastly the husband of that lady had put her under fire.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that it was love marriage and because the petitioner is husband of the deceased,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.23903 of 2020(4) dt.07-12-2020 2/2 he has been implicated in this case. He is in judicial custody since 27.11.2018.

Looking to the entire facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. However, the trial court is directed to conclude the trial preferably within a period of nine months subject to cooperation extended by the parties.
