The petitioner has prayed for grant of anticipatory bail in Complaint Case No.248/2016, T.R. No.2730/2016 registered for the offence under Sections 323, 341, 379, 420, 498(A), 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code, in which learned Magistrate has taken cognizance of offence under Section 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code and has directed for issuance of summons.

Learned counsel for the petitioner accepts that after

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.47833 of 2016 (3) dt.24-11-2016 2/2 order of cognizance under Section 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code, the learned Magistrate has only directed for issuance of summons. Accordingly, at the moment, he makes a prayer for disposal of the present petition, so that the petitioner may avail appropriate remedy at the appropriate stage.

The prayer is allowed.

The petition stands disposed of with liberty as indicated above.
