JUSTICE AJAY KUMAR TRIPATHI ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 29-10-2015 The posts of Choukidar and Dafadar have become governmental post of Class IV category in the State of Bihar after 1990. There are series of judgment of this Court that such appointments now can only be made in accordance with law laid down and after following Articles 14 and 16 of the Constitution of India. Merely because father of the petitioner was Choukidar, he cannot be appointed on that basis any more. If there are vacancies and advertisements are made, petitioner can surely apply and be considered. Era and age of appointment by heredity is over.
