2. The petitioners seek bail in connection with Bathnaha P.S. Case No. 01 of 2026 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 85, 80 and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

3. The petitioners, who are the mother-in-law and father-in-law along with others are said to have killed the deceased for not paying sufficient dowry.

4. The petitioners are in custody since 21.02.2026.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that there is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioners.

No.29400 of 2026(2) dt.11-05-2026 2/2 Learned counsel has relied upon the prescriptions to show that the deceased was regularly being treated for her ailment and subsequently, she died. He has also submitted that the case has been compromised by the prosecution realizing their mistake.

6. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the prayer for regular bail of the petitioners.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sitamarhi/ concerned Court below in connection with Bathnaha P.S. Case No. 01 of 2026.

8. It is, however, clarified that the observations made herein are limited to the adjudication of the present bail application and shall not prejudice the case of the petitioners at any subsequent stage of the trial and this Court has not express any opinion on the merits of the case.
