Patna High Court Cr. WJC No.308 of 2015 (2) dt.25-01-2016 2/2 (Manuapul) P.S. case No.392 of 2014 dated 15.9.2014 registered under Sections 147, 323, 406 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code as also Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. By way of the present application preferred under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner seeks a direction to be issued to the respondents no.2 to 7 to take action against respondents no.8 to 22 in accordance with law. At the outset, it has been submitted by the learned counsel for the State that the allegations made in the FIR against respondents no.8 to 22 have been found to be false during investigation and, accordingly, a final report under Section 173(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure has already been filed in the Court.
In view of the aforesaid developments which took place during the pendency of this application, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the present application as the prayer made in the writ petition has become infructuous. In that view of the matter, the application is dismissed as infructuous.
