1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1(i) For issuance of an appropriate writ / order / direction declaring the actions of the respondents demolishing only the temple

Patna High Court CWJC No.6829 of 2024(2) dt.11-07-2024 2/2 known as Maharudra Mahadev Sankat Mochan Mandir Shivganj (Madanpur) situated in Mauza- Dadhapi (Shivganj), Khata No. 486, Plot No. 1585, 1586 side by G.T. Road {N.H.

(2)(10)} Block-Madanpur, District Aurangabad, State Bihar illegal, arbitrary and without taking process of law for which the respondents are responsible to construct the temple.

(ii) For issuance of an appropriate writ / order / direction that demolition of such more than hundred year old temple by the respondents without following rule of law in this respect is illegal and the local peoples having faith to the temple should be restore their faith by construction of the temple."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the District Magistrate, Aurangabad for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. The writ petition stands disposed off.
