JUSTICE SANDEEP KUMAR ORAL ORDER 30-11-2023 By way of this writ petition, the petitioner is challenging the memo no.540 dated 16.07.2022 issued by the Assistant Inspector General of Registration, Saran Division, Chapra, whereby and whereunder the petitioner has been directed to deposit deficit stamp duty to the tune of Rs.3,32,457/- in connection with registration of sale deed. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that his case is squarely covered by the judgment and order dated 07.11.2023 passed in C.W.J.C. No.7018 of 2023 (Amal Devi vs. The State of Bihar and Ors.)

For the reasons recorded in the judgment and order dated 07.11.2023 passed in C.W.J.C. No.7018 of 2023, this application is also allowed. Accordingly, the memo no.540 dated 16.07.2022 issued by the Assistant Inspector General of Registration, Saran Division, Chapra is hereby quashed and the respondents are debarred from proceeding any further in the matter.
