JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 04-09-2019 This is an application for grant of anticipatory bail in connection with Harnaut P. S. Case No. 338 of 2018, disclosing offences under Sections 147, 148, 341, 323, 307, 379 and 504 of IPC.

Allegation against the petitioner is of assault to the brother of the informant, causing injury on the left ear. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that there is no repetition of blow and the occurrence took place during the hot altercation between the parties. Heard learned A.P.P. also, who has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail on the ground that injury report disclosed that injury is grievous in nature.

Having heard both sides, in view of the seriousness of the injuries, I am not inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory
