The petitioners seek pre-arrest bail in connection with Turkauliya P.S. Case No.546 of 2017 registered under Sections 341, 323, 325, 379, 504 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of Prevention of Witch (Daain) Practices Act, 1999.

Considering the inordinate and unexplained delay

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.22146 of 2018 (2) dt.26-04-2018 of five days in institution of the first information report, in the event of arrest or surrender in the court below within six weeks from today, the petitioners are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, East Champaran at Motihari in connection with Turkauliya P.S.
