This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Excise Police Station Case No.569 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 30(a) and 56(b) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

It is alleged that about 189 litres of foreign liquor has been recovered from the vehicle of the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 26.03.2023 and he has clean antecedent.

Considering the period of custody of the petitioner as well as the fact that he has clean antecedent, this application is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.28611 of 2023(2) dt.15-05-2023 2/2 two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Exclusive Excise Court-3, Gaya, in connection with Excise Police Station Case No.569 of 2023.
