Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks from today.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Riga P.S. Case No. 295 of 2022 registered for the offence under Sections 494, 498(A) and 504 of the Indian Penal Code. The allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner is the husband of the informant and he constantly comes home in the state of intoxication and always abuses the informant and her children and therefore the wife is not ready to live with her.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is ready to keep the wife and children with full honour

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.28620 of 2023(2) dt.24-05-2023 2/2 and respect and the allegations made by the informant are baseless.

Learned counsel for the petitioner also submits that the petitioner is in custody since 18.07.2022. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the aforesaid facts and the period of custody, this application for regular bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Acting Chief Judicial Magistrate-VI, Sitamarhi in connection with Riga P.S.
