The husband of the petitioner was a IVth grade employee of the State Government. He superannuated from service on 31.01.1997. Upon his death, the petitioner is in receipt of family pension. Her grievance is that the respondents have not paid the pension/family pension including the arrears thereof in the light of the revision of the pay/pension by the 5th Pay Commission.
Along with the counter affidavit of the State,
Patna High Court CWJC No.20707 of 2014 (2) dt.20-08-2016 2/2 Annexure-A has been enclosed, wherefrom it appears on 13.10.2015, the respondent-Accountant General has revised the family pension payable to the petitioner w.e.f. 01.04.2007. It is now for the petitioner to approach the concerned treasury/bank for payment of the revised pension including the arrears authorized by the Accountant General vide Annexure-A. I am sure, if entire formalities are completed, the concerned authority will ensure payment of the revised family pension including arrear thereof in favour of the petitioner as quickly as possible preferably within (03) weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order before the concerned respondents.
The writ application is disposed of.
