The petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Jamui (Town) P.S. Case No. 323 of 2017 dated 02.10.2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 332, 353, 153A, 295, 295(A), 435, 427, 307, 337, 338 and 323 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 27 of the Arms Act.

During a procession of Muharram which had coincided with the immersion of the statue of goddess Durga after the Durga Pujas, some mischiefmongers created trouble leading to pelting of stone in an affray. This resulted in damage to the property and injuries to

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.21500 of 2018(2) dt.26-04-2018 2/2 some of the persons. Though the petitioners have been named in the FIR but nothing specific has been levelled against him. Many persons have been named in the FIR who are alleged to have participated in the occurrence. Considering the nature of accusation and the fact that nothing specific has been alleged against the petitioners, the petitioners are directed to be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, on their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jamui in connection with Jamui Town P.S. Case No. 323 of 2017, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
