BAJANTHRI) 30-10-2023 Pursuant to our earlier order seventh supplementary affidavit has been filed along with certain documents at Annexure P - 16 to P - 21 insofar as calculation of disbursement of arrears of payment (family pension to the respondent). Insofar as interest part is concerned, the Officer Ms. Gautmi Bhattacharya, Superintending Archaeologist who is present in the Court, on instruction, submitted that it is under correspondence. Respondent is entitled to interest at Rs. 2,91,604/-. A formal cheque in favour of respondent is required

Patna High Court CWJC No.7859 of 2022(23) dt.30-10-2023 2/2 to be issued by the concerned authority.

2. Taking note of such submission, we propose to dispose of this matter hoping that the competent authority would release the interest part-cheque in favour of the respondent within a period of four weeks from today, failing which respondent is entitled to litigation cost and it is quantified at Rs. 50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand). Even otherwise respondent Smt. Rameshwari Devi is entitled to litigation cost and it is quantified at Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand). The same shall be paid within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

3. With the above observation, present writ petition stands disposed of.
