2. The petitioner has prayed for regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 126(2), 115(2), 303(2), 308(3), 308(4), 329(4), 112(2)(b), 111(3), 111(4), 112(1), 112(2), 351(2), 61(2) and 3(5) of BNS.
3. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with twelve persons and six ladies entered the office of the informant. They started assaulting Suraj Kumar, threatened him and also demanded rangdari of Rs. 25,000/- daily.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that from perusal of the FIR, it is clear that the nature of allegation is general and
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.27696 of 2026(3) dt.22-06-2026 2/2 omnibus. Learned counsel has submitted that in this case, nobody has sustained any injury and also no any injury report is there. Moreover, the petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 16.01.2026.
5. Learned APP appearing for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer of regular bail and has submitted that it is a case of extortion.
6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail in connection with Fatehpur P.S. Case No. 825 of 2024 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Gaya. (Ashok Kumar Pandey, J) Shubham/- U T
