Petitioners seek bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code and 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. From a four wheeler, huge quantity of liquor was recovered. Petitioners were arrested from the vehicle. Petitioners have stated on oath that they have got no criminal antecedent.

Considering the facts of this case, let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail after completion of investigation on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.20,000/-

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.26487 of 2019(2) dt.23-04-2019 2/2 (Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Excise Case No.656 of 2019 arising out of Ara Nagar Police Station Case No.168 of 2019, subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and further the petitioners shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioners.
