JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 11-05-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1.That the petitioner crave the gracious indulgence of this Hon'ble High Court in nature of Mandamus direction to the authorities for issuance of an appropriate writ/s, direction/s as the facts and circumstances of the instance case requires as to grant the following relief:

(i) For issuance of a passport to the petitioners which was refused, to grant

Patna High Court CWJC No.6611 of 2023(2) dt.11-05-2023 2/2 the same as per the Section 6(f) of the Passport Act, by the Regional Passport Office, Patna on 03.03.2023.

(ii) For quashing the order dated 03.03.2023 by which the respondent no.3 (Regional Office, Patna) had refused to grant the passport."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of their aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
