2. The petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Jamui Mahila P.S. Case No. 10 of 2025 lodged on 01.02.2025, for the offence punishable under Sections 69, 352 & 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
3. As per the prosecution, FIR has been lodged against five named accused persons including the present petitioner. It has been alleged in the FIR that the petitioner has developed physical relation with the informant on the pretext of marriage.
4. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Counsel submits that petitioner is actually the victim in this case. Counsel submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and

5. Learned counsel for the informant vehemently opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner and submits that physical relation has been developed between the informant and the petitioner on the pretext of marriage since last three years and assurance has been made for marriage by the petitioner, but the same has not been made.
6. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner.
7. In the present facts and circumstances particularly, this offence has been acknowledged in the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, therefore, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected. (Dr. Anshuman, J) Divyansh/- U T
