JUSTICE RAVI RANJAN ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 30-01-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. Grievance of the petitioner is that though he has retired in the year 2009 the amount due against the head G.P.F. has not been paid as yet.

It is contended that despite several reminders the Provident Fund Officer, Purnea (respondent no. 4) has not transmitted the balance transferred statement to the Provident Fund Officer, Muzaffarpur (respondent no. 3) till date. No counter affidavit has been filed in this case. Accordingly, this writ application is being disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 4 to immediately transferred

Patna High Court CWJC No.8904 of 2014 dt.30-01-2016 2/2 the necessary statement to the respondent no. 3 with a copy to the Executive Engineer , Tirhut Cana Division No. 1, Muzaffarpur (respondent no. 2). Thereafter, respondent no. 2, 3 and 4 would be required to calculate the due amount of the petitioner along with statutory interest and issue necessary authority with respect to it and ensure payment with up-to-date statutory interest. It is expected that the entire exercise would be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order.
