Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Barachatti P.S. Case No. 1096 of 2022 registered on 29.11.2022 lodged under Sections 304(B)/34 of the I.P.C. As per the prosecution case, the allegation of killing the informant's daughter by the five named accused persons is there.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that under unfortunate circumstances this occurrence took place. He submits that the death has been caused due to jealousy. Counsel further submits that the petitioner is basically a victim of the

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He further submits that petitioner is in custody since 09.01.2023 having clean antecedent.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that it is an offence under Sections 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and petitioner is the husband of the deceased.

In the present facts and circumstances of this case and the submissions made above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

With this observation, the bail application stands rejected.

Trial court is directed to expedite the trial within nine months.
