JUSTICE RAMESH KUMAR DATTA ORAL ORDER 25-11-2016 A show cause is filed on behalf of the Civil Surgeoncum-Chief Medical Officer, Kaimur, Bhabhua in which it is stated that the petitioner had been allegedly awarded the work during the period of the then Civil Surgeon, Dr. Uchhit Lal Mandal, during whose tenure, financial irregularity to the extent of Rs.4,17,25,000/- has been found on the basis of investigations made and two FIRs have been lodged against him and he has also been dismissed from service. It is further stated that such matters are still pending before the courts and it is not possible to decide the claim of the petitioner. In the said circumstances, an order on the claim of the petitioner dated 14.8.2015 has been passed by the Civil Surgeon stating the aforesaid facts.
In the aforesaid circumstances, the order under contempt appears to have been complied with.
The contempt application is, accordingly, dismissed.
