This application for anticipatory bail arises out of Mahua P.S. Case No. 148 of 2014, disclosing offences under Sections 147,148,149,341,323,324,307 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioners were allowed anticipatory bail way back in the year 2015 by the learned Sessions Judge, Vaishali at Hajipur. For certain reasons, they could not present themselves for furnishing bail bonds within the period prescribed by the learned Sessions Judge. Their application for extension of time made nearly four years thereafter has been rejected by an order dated 20.02.2019 passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Vaishali

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.26084 of 2019(2) dt.22-04-2019 2/2 at Hajipur. Learned Sessions Judge has directed the petitioners to surrender before the Court below and further that the Court below would consider their cases for grant of regular bail, in the light of the order dated 19.03.2015.

Considering the above submission, this application is disposed of with an observation that if the petitioners surrender before the Court within four weeks from today and seek regular bail, their application for regular bail shall be considered and decided on the same day, keeping in mind the earlier order dated 19.03.2015, passed on the anticipatory bail application by the learned Sessions Judge, Vaishali at Hajipur.
