2. The petitioner has renewed his prayer for grant of regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 302, 120B of the Indian Penal Code, which was earlier rejected vide order dated 10.1.2023 and 5.1.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. Nos. 24071/22 and 68622/23 with a direction to trial court to expedite and conclude the trial.

4. In compliance of order dated 16.5.2024, a progress report dated 24.5.2024 sent by Addl. Distt. & Sessions Judge-V, Samastipur has been received which suggests that trial is likely to be concluded in three months.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.35296 of 2024(3) dt.02-07-2024 2/2 there is no hope to conclude the trial in near future. He further submits that petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 27.10.2021.

6. There is no new ground to reconsider the bail prayer of the petitioner. Hence, this application stands disposed off.

7. The learned trial court is directed to conclude the trial within a period of three months positively, failing which, the petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail. (Sunil Kumar Panwar, J) sushma/- U
