It is manifest from the pleadings on record that the petitioner has a grievance against determination of the amount of compensation against acquisition of his land under the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (for short 'the Act'). In my view, Section 64 of the Act provides remedy to such person, who has accepted the award, but with objection. If, according to the petitioner, the determination of the award is improper, he can approach the Collector, by making an

Patna High Court CWJC No.9100 of 2019(2) dt.03-05-2019 2/2 application, as stipulated under sub-section(2) of Section 64 of the Act.

It is indicated that if any question of delay arises in making application under Section 64 of the Act, the Collector/competent authority shall consider this aspect that the petitioner was pursuing his remedy before this Court. This writ application stands disposed of with the observation, as above.
