The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Teghra P.S. Case No.40 of 2019 registered under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The police got information that some illegal liquor was hidden in the field of Vijay Rai and on such, a raid was conducted but after seeing the police, 5-6 persons managed to flee away. On search, 195 liters of Indian made foreign liquor was recovered from the field of Vijay Rai. The villagers are said to have disclosed the name of the petitioner and others. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no manner of concern with the recovery of liquor from the field of Vijay Rai. The police implicated the petitioner

Taking into consideration the fact that nothing has been recovered from the house or any place belonging to the petitioner, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the order, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Shri Raj Kishore Rai, learned Addl. Sessions Judge IInd-cumSpl. Judge, Excise Act, Begusarai in connection with Teghra P.S.
