JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 18-08-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1(i). For commanding the respondents to consider the cause and case for compassionate appointment upon the post of Chawkidar to the petitioner who has applied in due process and subsequently recommended by Respondents no. 7 and 8.

(ii). Further commanding the respondent authorities to act as per guideline issued time to time for consideration upon the post of compassionate appointment.

(iii). Grant of any other incidental or consequential

At the outset, the learned counsel for the RespondentState submits that the claim of the petitioner for grant of appointment on compassionate ground has been rejected, vide order dated 8.2.2020, passed by the District Magistrate, Bettiah, in the capacity of Chairman of the District Compassionate Appointment Committee.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner be granted liberty to challenge the aforesaid decision, rejecting the claim of the petitioner. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
