16-11-2021 Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The petitioner seeks bail in Hajipur Town P.S. Case No.475 of 2020, registered for the offence under Sections 302, 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, on 22.07.2020, the informant got an information from Mukhiya Ji with respect to death of his daughter. Upon such information, he reached Sadar Hospital, Hajipur and identified the dead-body of his daughter. Informant suspects that this petitioner alongwith co-accused have killed his daughter and disposed of her dead-body with a view to conceal the crime.

It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that it is a case of 'honour killing'. There is no eye-witness to the actual occurrence and only on suspicion, petitioner has been made accused. Petitioner is in custody since 12.03.2021.

No.38111 of 2021(4) dt.16-11-2021 2/2 However, learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail petition and submitted that after the victim was got released by this petitioner from the Alpawas Grih, she was residing with the petitioner. During course of investigation, it has come that this petitioner was seen with the deceased on motorcycle.

Considering the nature of allegation and materials collected during course of investigation, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and same is, accordingly, rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J.) anay U T
