The petitioner seeks registration of vehicle which he purchased in auction. He seeks registration of the same by the competent authority. The only hurdle in his way is that on the website name of other person is appearing as the registered owner.

We, thus, propose that in case the petitioner files a fresh representation, the District Transport Officer shall consider the plea of the petitioner and pass a speaking order.

Under the circumstances, we direct that in case the petitioner moves a representation within 10 days from today, the same shall be disposed off by the District Transport Officer within a week thereafter.
