The petitioners are in custody in connection with Sonepur P.S. Case No. 143 of 2019, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 30 (A) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have no criminal antecedent. Learned counsel for the petitioners further submits that in the instant case total 117 liters liquor was seized. Learned counsel for the petitioners next contended that the liquor was seized from the Maruit Car and these petitioners have no concern either from the Maruit Car or from the seized liquor. Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.27317 of 2019(2) dt.25-04-2019 2/2 would submit that petitioners are in custody since 07.03.2019. Considering the fact that petitioners have no criminal antecedent, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioners. Let the petitioners named above be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Learned Addl. Sessions Judge-IX-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Saran, in connection with Sonepur P.S. Case No. 143 of 2019.
