2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Nawada Town P.S. Case No.1176 of 2023, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304(B), 201, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the prosecution case, the accused persons alongwith the petitioner started demanding bullet motorcycle in dowry, when the said demand was not fulfilled then they started torturing the deceased and lastly killed the deceased by pressing her neck.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is brother-in-law (Nandoshi) of the deceased. He
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.31862 of 2024(2) dt.10-05-2024 2/2 further submits that there is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner. He also submits that petitioner has no connection with the deceased and her husband because fatherin-law and mother-in-law are living separate from deceased and her husband. Learned counsel submits that petitioner has one criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 08.02.2024.
5. Learned APP for the State and learned counsel for the informant have opposed the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions of learned counsel for the parties, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nawada in connection with Nawada Town P.S. Case No.1176 of 2023.
