The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Arwal Mahila P.S. Case No. 10 of 2017, registered under Section 376/120-B of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the POCSO Act, pending in the court of the Addl. Sessions Judge-I, Jehanabad.
The accusation is that on 14.07.2017 the informant was returning from field to her house after call of nature. In the way, Pawan Kumar, Suraj Kumar and Manish Kumar (Petitioner) forcibly carried her in a filed, where Pawan Kumar committed rape at the informant and left her near Sun temple.
