Earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was refused by this Court vide Annexure 1 with liberty to renew the prayer for bail if trial is not concluded within nine months. From perusal of the trial court's report dated 19.10.2021, it appears that out of ten witnesses, two of them have already been examined, whereas learned counsel for the informant submits that two more witnesses have also been examined so far.

In view of the nature of accusation and the progress of the trial, prayer for bail of the petitioner is refused. As the petitioner is in custody since 23.12.2019, let the trial be concluded preferably within nine months. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) Shashi U T
