====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 13-10-2020 Heard Mr. Zeyal Hoda, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Md. Aslam Ansari, learned APP for the State.

The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Tajpur (Halai) P. S. Case No. 22 of 2020 dated 24.01.2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 30(a) and 41 (i)(ii) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It appears from the F.I.R. that one person was arrested with 33 cartons of liquor and each carton contained 48 bottles of liquor. The person who was arrested has named the petitioner. The petitioner is also

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the transportation of the liquor in his vehicle was without his knowledge and he is a person of clean antecedents.

There is no recovery from the personal possession of the petitioner.

Considering the afore-stated facts, especially the clean antecedents of the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 2nd Additional Sessions Judge cum Special Judge, Excise Act, Samastipur in connection with Tajpur (Halai) P. S. Case No. 22 of 2020, subject to the conditions as laid down
