The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1(I) Issuance of direction to execute the order of Notification No 111 dated 04.07.2012 passed by the Secretary of Bihar State Electricity Board, given relaxation of 3 years for the post of Assistant Electrical Executive Engineer in promotion has been granted on 29.12.2016 in place of March 2014. (as the petitioner had joined as J.E.E on 3rd March 2009 and next

Patna High Court CWJC No.7807 of 2022(2) dt.16-01-2024 2/3 promotion as AEE Was due to be promoted after 8 years but due to Notification No 111 dtd 04.07.2012 is eligible and entitled to be promoted from 13th March 2014 as A E E.) (II) Issuance of direction to the respondents to issue Fresh and Final Gradation List of Assistant Executive Engineer (GTO) as Gradation list issued on 04.10.2019 having its life of one year which expired on 04.10.2020 as contained in memo No 1630 dt. 04.10.2019 having a lot of discrepancy and persons junior to the petitioner have been placed at sl. no 316 317,318 and 319 in Gradation list where as the petitioner is placed at S1 No 336. The petitioner was in JEE gradation list No 30 and Sri Prashant Kumar at Sl.

No 32, Munna Ri Singh at SL no 40, Jyoti Nandan at S1 No 41 (Resigned) and Minhazul Afrin SL No 45, all these four junior persons placed at SL No 316,317,318 and 319 above the petitioner in AEE gradation test. Gradation list Sl. No 278 to 286 and 290,301,302, 304, and 310 joined 18.07.2014 where as the petitioner is required to placed earlier to direct recruits in Gradation list.

(III) Issuance of direction on the respondents after changing the date of promotion in AEE from March 2014 in place of 29.12.2016, further issuance of direction to the respondents to promote the petitioner in EEE in view of

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the though the petitioner has been granted promotion to the post of Assistant Executive Engineer w.e.f. 29.12.2016, however, the same should have been granted w.e.f. 14.03.2014 and further the petitioner is also entitled to be granted promotion to the post of Electrical Executive Engineer, hence the petitioner be granted liberty to approach the Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Bihar State Power Holding Company Limited, Patna for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. The present writ petition stands disposed off as not pressed.
