2. The petitioner apprehends her arrest in a case registered for the offence under Sections 80(2), 3(5) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
3. As per prosecution case, sister of informant was married with co-accused Pawan Choudhary in the year 2023 and it is alleged that after the marriage, she was subjected to cruelty and harassment for dowry and lastly, on 22.07.2024 at about 2 PM, it is alleged that all accused persons committed her murder.
4. Petitioner is mother-in-law of the deceased. There is general and omnibus allegation. Thrust of the accusation is against husband of the deceased, who is already in custody. Father-in-law of deceased is also behind bar. Petitioner is separate in mess and property and has got no concern with the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.28267 of 2025(2) dt.14-05-2025 2/2 family affairs of deceased and her husband. In fact, the deceased herself committed suicide by hanging.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of petitioner.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the above named petitioner, in the event of arrest/surrender within a period of eight weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Bhojpur, Ara in connection with Agiaon Bazar P.S. Case No. 109 of 2024, subject to condition as laid down under Section 482 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) anay U T
