This is an application seeking quashing of the First Information Report of Shahpur P.S. Case No. 213 of 2015, dated 18.12.2015, which has been instituted for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 152, 153(A), 341, 337, 323, 353, 307 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner is not in a position to inform this Court about the stage of the investigation.

In any view of the matter, if the investigation in this case has remained pending till now, this Court directs the same to be concluded preferably within a period of four months from today. If the investigation has already been completed, the petitioner would have the liberty to take recourse of the legal remedies to which he is entitled. With the aforesaid observation/direction, the application stands disposed off.
