The petitioner filed this Criminal Miscellaneous for modification of the order dated 12.01.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. No.63763 of 2017 and to extend the period of surrender of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail on12.01.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. No.63763 of 2017 and directed to surrender in the court below within four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of the order but unfortunately the petitioner fell ill and he was suffering from jaundice. The petitioner was advised complete bed rest.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.16246 of 2018 (2) dt.02-05-2018 2/2 Considering the facts aforesaid, the modification petition is allowed. The period of surrender of the petitioner is extended for four weeks from today and accordingly the order dated 12.01.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. No.63763 of 2017 is modified to the extent, as indicated above.
