The petitioners seek quashing of the first information report of Chowk P.S. Case No. 19 of 2015 dated 06.02.2015 registered under Sections 147, 448, 420, 405, 468, 471 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code.
It is contended by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners that the allegations made in the FIR are malicious in nature and there is no truth behind what has been stated therein.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.41576 of 2015 dt.09-05-2016 2 / 2 Be that as it may, regard being had to the fact that the allegations made in the FIR do attract ingredients of a cognizable offence, I am not inclined to quash the FIR.
Accordingly, the application is dismissed.
